Eric Wisniewski Clinches Speedtour Formula Development Championship at V.I.R.

Eric Wisniewski wins race 1 at V.I.R. on October 8th 2022

Eric Wisniewski completed the fourth and final round of the Speedtour
Formula Development Series at the 2022 Andy Scriven Memorial at the Mission
Foods VIR SpeedTour this past weekend, bringing home a 1st and 2nd
place finish and securing the championship. Conditions on the 3.27 Mile road
course of Virginia International Raceway were challenging with cool weather and a cold track surface for the weekend. The Jay Howard Driver Development team had Eric’s Ligier JS F4 dialed in
and Eric was able to set the fastest lap in his class in both races. Race one saw Eric take an early lead and deliver a mistake free performance for a P1 finish in his division. A late
arrival to the grid in Race 2 saw Eric start from the back and work his way up
front only to have contact in turn 17 bring him to the tail again where he
fought back to finish P2.
